We had 2 nights over the Aust Day Weekend and our interaction with the staff was pleasant. The park is situated beautifully amongst trees and right on the water. Majority of the sites are permanent onsite vans. This park lacks the big ticket items that might draw you to some of the more popular parks, the kids will make their own fun. Bikes are a mustYou can tell the owners are taking the time to renovate some abandoned sites. Once the renovations are completed the park will live upto to its potential. However it is a long way from perfect. The bathrooms could use an extra soap dispenser and no paper towel or hand dryer in site. The showers run on a scale of really scolding hot or cold, perhaps a better system than the 20 cent shower may be more effective The location and proximity to the beaches, swan lake and the town are ideal and make this park one to re-visit. With the hope that renovations will continue to improve the park
Great spot, not many spots to camp. That said location is awesome.
Great atmosphere and service
We stayed there for 8 days with our 5 kids over New Years, we were lucky we found a spot because we booked late and someone had canceled, the owner was very nice and guided my in parking my caravan initially, we parked under a big tree and the birds would eat from it right above us so we had to brush off the mess they made off our table and chairs, we loved it, there was aNice swimming and kayaking area near us, the downsides were the 24/7 mosquitos so you gotta light something to keep them away and use sprays, also the 20 cent coin operated showers were an issue especially when you run out of coins at night and cant have a hot shower, and sometimes you have to put in 3 coins for it to work. Do the hike over the hill to the beach its nice, I recommend this place and I would go back. The road is gravel so scooters with small wheels for the kids wont work but bring the kids bikes theyll love riding around the park.
Rude, arrogant, ruined our end of year family holiday. Not accomodating at all, run down park. Save your money and stay else where!
