Excellent value for money from a classic small town tavern. Cheap meals, huge size, great quality

Beergarden, a dirty bistro and a drive thru bottlo. The airconditioning does not work- 16th Jan 2019 over 30degrees Celsius inside building.Way too uncomfortable. If the tavern continues charging Sydney prices for drinks, I advise all visitors to Sussex Inlet to go to the RSL for much cheaper drinks or perhaps the Bowling Club for best value real meals. They are both on the river with views too.Stay clear of the pub, period!!!Times have changed in Sussex Inlet.Don't get ripped off.

Drinks a bit pricey. I had t-bone was very nice mushroom sauce was just gravy with mushys thrown in . kids and misus had chicken snitty they were like coles bought all same shapes not the cook's fault only can cook what they are supplied with. get what u pay for.

Disappointing. Have been coming here on holidays 13 years. Sat at front gate area near jumping castle as a group of 7 and a Puppy Golden Retriever. Quiet Monday Night. We were advised sorry we dont allow dogs. I said we have had him here twice previously and dont see any signs. Was advised sorry but someone took the sign. So we took our placid golden retriever and put him in the boat. Then lined up for dinner ten mins later and received a tap on the shoulder, "sorry you cant be in here, you and the kids need to leave" i said why?... she said is the dog still here, i said no, we took him out straight away as you asked. "Oh ok.... then she walked away" Very rude and tactless behaviour. Some customer service training and renewed signage may be required or run the risk of losing more clients. The food and kitcehn staff are very good and it is well priced. The drink prices are ridiculous. $7.50 for a beer! We are in a coastal town, not Sydney! Rsl club or Bowlo next time.

Best food in Sussex inlet. We are regular visitors to the area and this is where we always eat. Chef is awesome. meals are fantastic, and great priced.Staff are super friendly.Never disappoints. It's a must!
